Terms of Service

By accessing or using Flought, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live). If you use Flought for a company, you confirm you can bind that company.

1. What Flought is

Flought is a product discovery and launch platform. Makers list software products and related tools; visitors browse leaderboards and click through to external sites.

Flought is not a marketplace, escrow service, investment platform, app store, or endorsement of any listed product. Listings are advertisements and directory entries, not editorial recommendations or reviews.

2. Rankings & sponsored placements

Flought uses two separate visibility systems:

• Organic rankings — determined by validated outbound clicks using our published scoring rules (see Rules). Payment does not affect organic rank.
• Featured placements (Sponsored) — up to five 24-hour sponsored places from a single daily auction. All bids stay until close; top 5 win. Others choose continue into tomorrow or refund.

Positions #1–#3 are never sold. They are always organic and click-driven.

Organic rank does not guarantee traffic, conversions, revenue, or any commercial outcome. A featured slot does not guarantee clicks, conversions, or return on ad spend. Auction spend has zero effect on organic score.

Featured Visit links may use `rel="sponsored nofollow"`. Full mechanics are described on Rules. Click tracking is described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Accounts

An account is required to submit listings, bid on featured slots, and use the maker dashboard. Provide accurate information. Do not create multiple accounts to evade limits or bans.

We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts for Terms violations, fraud, illegal content, or risk management, including permanent bans where appropriate.

4. Listings

You must have authority to list the product. Content must be accurate and not misleading. Requirements include (non-exhaustive):

• A valid product URL (no chat/invite links as the primary destination; no URL shorteners)
• One listing per product URL
• No illegal products, malware, phishing, adult/NSFW content, scams, MLM/pyramid schemes, counterfeits, or hate-promoting products

We may moderate, remove, or refuse listings at our discretion. Featured placement does not exempt a listing from moderation.

5. Fees, auctions & no refunds

Fees may include Verified Launch fees, featured auction bids, and other paid features we offer. Payments are processed by Razorpay (or a successor processor). Card and payment details are handled by the processor; Flought does not store full card numbers.

All payments are final and non-refundable, including when you:

• Delist voluntarily or close your account
• Receive fewer clicks or conversions than expected
• Lose a listing or featured slot for Terms or moderation violations
• Experience ranking or algorithm changes, or partial service unavailability

Limited auction exception: If published auction rules provide an automatic refund when you are outbid during an active auction window, that refund (if any) is the only standard refund scenario. Winning bids and Verified Launch fees remain non-refundable.

Bad-faith chargebacks may result in permanent account termination and forfeiture of listings and placements. Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

6. Click fraud & manipulation

You must not artificially inflate clicks or rankings, including via bots, click farms, paid click schemes, self-clicks, click rings, VPN/proxy abuse for fraudulent clicks, or bypassing fraud controls.

We use automated and manual fraud detection and may discount, invalidate, or retroactively remove clicks (including up to about 72 hours after an event), quarantine listings, forfeit featured placements without refund, and suspend or ban accounts. Fraud scoring on individual clicks is not individually negotiable; account actions may be appealed as described below.

7. Third-party sites

Clicking Visit sends you to a third-party site at your own risk. Flought is not responsible for external products, services, or websites. Listings are not endorsements. Do your own diligence before buying or using anything listed.

8. Content license

You keep ownership of content you submit. By listing, you grant Flought a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content to operate and promote the platform (leaderboards, product pages, search, social cards, and related surfaces).

9. Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, rankings, traffic, or launch outcomes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flought’s aggregate liability for claims related to the service is limited to the greater of (a) fees you paid to Flought in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data.

You agree to indemnify Flought against claims arising from your listings, content, products, click fraud, or violation of these Terms or third-party rights.

10. Suspension, termination & appeals

We may suspend accounts, remove listings, or terminate access for Terms violations or risk management. Where practical, we will provide a statement of reasons for content removals.

Appeals: email appeals@flought.com within 14 days with supporting information. Upon termination, listings are removed; fees remain non-refundable; data is handled per the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms, ranking rules, auction rules, pricing, and features. Material changes will be announced with reasonable advance notice (typically 30 days) by email and/or site notice where practical. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. If you disagree, close your account; prior payments are not refunded.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise. Courts in India shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction, subject to those mandatory rights.
